Our Mission:

Kelly McKinnon & Associates provides a comprehensive assessment and therapeutic setting to support children with needs, including children diagnosed on the autism spectrum,  with ADHD, developmental delays, and other social-language concerns.  An atmosphere of support, collaboration and training is fostered at our clinic.  We work diligently to bring you the latest information on new developments and research, and information can be found and borrowed at the clinic.

All staff are trained by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst for at least 40 hours before they work individually with any child at our clinic. Training and supervision is a top priority! Annually, our team visits local schools to watch, observe and take data on "neurotypically developing children" in play to make ensure our social skills goals & aims are appropriate!!

Each child will have an individual treatment plan, with social skills goals across all developementally appropriate social skills areas, based on Kelly's book and her work. Activities are developed in a natural, play-based setting.

Free parent training and summer camp opportunities, help foster an atmosphere of support and community. Friendships have been forged, with many children in our clinic having play dates, sleep overs and birthday parties with friends they have met here!

First steps for Social Skills Groups:

Our social skills groups start at age 4, or almost 4. When you & your child first come to our office, you will meet with our staff and planning will begin for treatment needs.  Next, with your input, an evaluation and treatment report will be developed with treatment and goal recommendations.  When appropriate, we will make every attempt to match you & your child's therapeutic needs here at our clinic. At times, if we are not able to accommodate all of your child?s therapeutic needs, then an additional referral may be made to an outside agency.

Note: We are experiencing high volumes of calls at this time! We do have a wait list, 2-6 months long. We are doing our best to meet everyone's needs!
